We are looking for a talented and dedicated individual to provide management support for accounting functions. This person MUST have an eye for detail and have advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel.

Skills REQUIRED:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of accounting experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience with payroll & human resources
  • Strong and advanced skills in Excel
  • Experience with general ledger accounts
  • Demonstrate follow-through and ability to complete tasks
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills

Skills Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or similar
  • Computer software/hardware installation (IT) knowledge
  • Knowledge of multi-line phone systems
  • Knowledge of Ajera financial software
  • Knowledge of Paychex Flex payroll system

Job Duties:

  • Accounts Payable Clerk
  • Process vendor invoices
  • Process vendor & subconsultant payments (check runs)
  • Record and track receipts for company credit card purchases
  • Balance credit card statement monthly
  • Payroll Clerk
  • Process biweekly payroll
  • Setup and maintain employee records and payroll-related deductions
  • Research employee payroll inquiries
  • Manage benefit enrollments & changes
  • Assistant to the CFO
  • Report bank information accurately to upper management
  • Prepare routine journal entries
  • Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
  • Researching, analyzing, and interpreting information including account discrepancies
  • Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures
  • Assist in financial audits
  • Back-up CFO with any other ad-hoc items as needded
  • Assist with IT
  • Set-up new computers
  • Troubleshoot desktop computer problems
  • Maintain office printers/copiers/projectors
  • Provide Back-up Reception
  • Answer phones
  • Greet guests
  • Maintain lobby & conference rooms
  • Office Assistant
  • Maintain a pleasant working environment by keeping production and lobby areas stocked, organized, and tidy
  • Assist with File Management
  • Maintain all project files
  • Update Access database with projects
  • Process all files to be archived/destroyed
  • Assist with Housekeeping
  • Make coffee
  • Wash dishes & clean kitchen as needed
