288 Senior Product Manager/Director

Imagine you’re handed all the resources of the world’s biggest video game publisher, paired with the agility of a Silicon Valley startup (a very, very well-funded one). But wait, it gets even better. Now imagine you get to bring the world’s most popular mobile game to a whole new audience that could turn into its biggest market yet – the U.S.
First, you’ll provide support on segmentation and strategy as we devise our marketing road map.

As the central analytics hub, you’ll build models from multiple sources to drive insight generation, collaborating with internal stakeholders (Studio, Consumer Research, Live Ops and Tech), platform partners (Apple, Google), channel partners (Facebook, Twitch, Snapchat) and media agencies.

As launch approaches, you’ll lead data mining and deliver key insights, all the while testing and optimizing through launch and beyond.

You’ll enjoy a high profile, reporting and presenting key insights from marketing campaigns. As a key team member of one of the world’s most influential tech companies, you’ll travel regularly within the U.S. and to Tencent offices in Hong Kong and Shenzhen HQ.

What you’ll do

  • Work with Brand Marketing team to develop go-to-market and product life cycle management strategies and tactics on performance channels;
  • Dig deep into campaign and app store performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization;
  • Use data to develop strong hypotheses, independently solve problems and provide actionable insights;
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape and markets;
  • Deliver product marketing analysis and make asset recommendations to optimize performance through rapid, data-driven iteration and A/B testing;
  • Monitor key trends in gaming across product features, marketing channels and ASO strategies, then apply them.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience with mobile performance marketing (user acquisition), ad buying analysis, or a similar marketing equivalent
  • Knowledge of both iOS and Android markets preferred
  • Ability to simultaneously manage competing priorities
  • Excel proficiency (lookups, advanced formulas, pivot tables, text string manipulation)
  • Ability to effectively present ideas, both verbally and visually
  • Tech wishlist (preferred but not required):
  • Experience with SQL, Vertica, and Tableau
