We are seeking friendly, energetic staff to work seasonal events (March thru October) in Cobb County. Applicant must be able to work nights and weekends. Must be able to work a flexible schedule of days, nights, weekends and holidays. The hours fluctuate based on event schedule.

Janitor responsibilities and duties

• Perform general clean up of all areas of the building as directed. Areas include:

Bathrooms -Break rooms -Offices -Meeting/Conference Rooms -Common

Areas

• Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space and parking lot
• Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders
• Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-up
• Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
• Ensure rooms are maintained and fully equipped

Janitor qualifications and skills

• Willingness to work early morning or late night shifts
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
• Capacity to take direction
• Strong attention to detail
• Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds as necessary
• Physically capable of walking up to 3 miles
• Physically capable of bending, stooping and reaching up
