Job Title: PHP Developer

Job Summary: You are a PHP developer that has a proven track record in creating efficient, scalable and manageable enterprise-level systems using open source technologies. You are updated with new and emerging technologies while sharing these knowledge with the rest of the time eventually contributing to an innovative environment.

Job Summary:
Integration of user-facing elements developed by a front-end developers with server side logic

Building reusable code and libraries for future use

Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability

Implementation of security and data protection

Design and implementation of data storage solutions and stored procedures.

Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

4+ years of experience working in a LAMP environment (Linux, Apache Server, MySQL and PHP)

Experience with APIs, web services and/or 3rd party platforms and libraries (ie Blog Platforms)

Experience with social media integration and scalability through various Social Networks like Facebook and Twitter

Experience working within a team setting

Solid trouble shooting, bug tracking, and quality assurance methodologies

Understanding of / experience with unit testing and source code control

Able to stay ahead of the curve with new and emerging technologies
