Wine Research Assistant

Job Description

The job is part-time/contract 20–30 hours a week and will be a mix of telecommuting and in office work. You will be working directly with the Content and Operations Directors on wine-based research and database management. The job will primarily involve recurring daily tasks with some new one-off projects as needed. Candidate must possess focus and attention to detail as well as a strong foundation in wine theory and tasting knowledge. Participation in meetings and ability to work in a team essential.

Experience

Candidate should have at least 4–5 years of professional experience. Experienced with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Google Docs and Google Spreadsheet. Ability to demonstrate a strong theoretical and tasting-based knowledge with a varied tasting repertoire. Wine certification with Court of Master Sommeliers and/or WSET preferred but not required Formal tasting experience preferred.

Office: Partial telecommuting with weekly commuting to Kirkland, WA or Woodinville, WA. Job is part-time/contract.
