Windows System Admin

Responsibilities:

1) Manage Dell Servers and Dell Blade enclosures.

2) Install, troubleshoot, support, patch, and, restore Windows Server licenses.

3) Configure and manage Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), Domain Name Server (DNS), Windows Internet Name Service (WINS), Microsoft Windows Group Policy, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Flexible Single Master Operation (FSMO) Roles, Sites and Services, Users and Computers, and PowerShell in Microsoft Active 2008 R2, or higher.

4) Configure and manage Microsoft Exchange 2010 Geographic Cluster.

5) Configure and manage Microsoft Lync 2013.

6) Configure and manage SharePoint 2010.

7) Administer, configure, and manage the hardware and software detailed in Section 6.

8) Provide support for distributed systems software through the diagnosis of problems and implementation of changes to resolve problems and maintain software at the most current level.

9) Perform comprehensive planning for the implementation of distributed systems.

10) Coordinate and/or perform installation of distributed systems software, updates, and patches.

11) Recommend and/or implement approved change for overall distributed systems and network performance improvement.

12) Design, develop, and implement specialized programs/routines to supplement and enhance distributed systems software.

13) Research, review, and evaluate technical plans for new system implementation and/or system migration, as may be necessary.

14) Assist with system migration and/or Exchange data migration.

15) Perform other related tasks as determined by the Department’s Contract Manager

Minimum Experience:

1) Demonstrated experience managing Dell Servers (2900 series or higher) and Dell Blade enclosures.

2) Demonstrated experience with installation, troubleshooting, support, patching, and restoration of Windows Server licenses.

3) Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2000, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, and Windows Server 2008 R2.

4) Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2012 R2.

5) Demonstrated experience with configuration and management of the following: Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), Domain Name Server (DNS), Windows Internet Name Service (WINS), Microsoft Windows Group Policy, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Flexible Single Master Operation (FSMO) Roles, Sites and Services, Users and Computers, and PowerShell in Microsoft Active 2008 R2 or higher.

6) Demonstrated experience with configuration and management of Microsoft Exchange 2010 Geographic Cluster with Database Availability Groups (DAG), including Exchange PowerShell.

7) Demonstrated experience with configuration and management of Microsoft Lync 2013 (Front-End / Edge / Reverse Proxy and Lync PowerShell).

8) Demonstrated experience with configuration and management of SharePoint 2010, or higher, including SharePoint PowerShell.

9) Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Clustering in Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012, and 2012 R2.

10) Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Distributed File System Replication (DFSR).

Preferred Experience:

1) Supporting a Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2, or higher, environment.

2) File Transfer Protocol (FTP), Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP), and File Transfer Protocol Secure (FTPS) fundamentals.

3) Demonstrated experience working with:

i. Enterprise Vault.

ii. VMWARE vSphere

iii. VMWARE ESXi 5.1, or higher.

iv. Cisco ACE Load Balancer.

v. Microsoft IIS.

vi. McAfee Suites.

vii. ePO.

viii. VirusScan.

ix. McAfee Web Gateway (MWG).

x. Encryption.

xi. Disaster Recovery.

xii. Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2012.

4) Demonstrated experience with installation, troubleshooting, and support of custom applications.

5) Demonstrated experience with Solarwinds.

6) Demonstrated experience with Enterprise Content Management (ECM), including Document Imaging, preferably using IBM FileNet P8 ECM System.

7) Demonstrated experience with General Network Troubleshooting.

8) Demonstrated experience with General Storage Area Network (SAN) understanding (RAID, Volumes, LUNs, and Fiber).

9) Demonstrated experience with migration to Windows Office 365.
