Wholesale Customer Support Associate, Temporary Assignment

Summary

Stumptown is seeking a Temp Associate to join our enterprising Wholesale Customer Support team. Every day we strive to deliver of the highest level of customer service and support to our customers. The Wholesale Customer Support team is the central hub for communication to our west customer base, and a critical part of our business. We seek a team player with fantastic communication skills, high standard of accuracy, and a passion to create a superlative customer experience. This position involves daily interactions with our customers to support order management as well as B2B site navigation, ensuring all customer needs are met in a timely manner.

Essential Functions

  • Serve as the voice of Stumptown to the customer, sharing brand and coffee knowledge
  • Consistently deliver an exceptional customer experience
  • Manage customer orders and see them through to fulfillment and delivery
  • Ensure order entry is consistently accurate and meticulously communicated to Production and Roasting departments
  • Ensure customer experience on new B2B site is both satisfactory for them and accurate for Stumptown
  • Encourage and assist customers in new B2B website, ensuring increased customer participation
  • Collaborate with Account Specialist, Sales, Education, and Service teams to address the needs of our wholesale customers, and quickly and thoroughly resolve customer concerns
  • Work closely with Accounts Receivable, maintaining accounting policies and procedures
  • Update and maintain wholesale customer contact data and B2B access
  • Demonstrate a passion and enthusiasm for coffee, as well as a desire to further educate yourself on the industry and Stumptown’s role within it
  • Take on other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience
  • Experience supporting customers using a website, an eCommerce platform a plus
  • Competency in Google apps, live chat platforms, internal chat (Slack, Hangouts, etc), and other basic computer applications
  • Familiarity with order-processing / inventory management platforms (ex: NetSuite)
  • Weekend availability
  • Empathetic, positive, can-do attitude
  • Flexible and adaptable to change
  • Calm demeanor under pressure or high volume / fast-paced situations
  • Strong focus, organization skills, and unwavering attention to detail
  • Exceptional time management
  • Excellent typing and data entry skills
  • Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for coffee
