Wind River Job Corps Center, located in Riverton Wyoming, is operated by Management & Training Corporation (MTC) for the U.S. Department of Labor. Located on the second bench above the Wind River Valley, the Center is one of the largest employers in Fremont County. Our staff teach approximately 300 youth, ages 16-24, the academic, technical training, employability, and social skills they need to become prepared for successful careers. A Job Corps campus is like a mini-city or small college campus. It has classrooms, dormitories, a dining hall, recreational, and medical facilities. Training is open entry, open exit and can last up to two years. Students work at their own pace, guided by academic and career training instructors who are committed to their success.

Wind River offers students training in nine vocations: accounting, carpentry, energy technology extraction, facility maintenance, heavy construction equipment mechanic, heavy equipment operations, heavy truck driving, office administration, and welding.

MTC is firmly committed to the principles of equal opportunity. We value diversity and seek staff who are committed to developing youth assets. We appreciate your interest in considering us as a potential employer!
