Position Summary: Unclassified State position with Benefits, $25.68 hr., full-time standard 40 hour work week scheduled Monday thru Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm.

Job Description: Incumbent will serve as Senior Developer and Subject Matter Expert for Web design and Windows SharePoint.

Incumbent will design, develop, program, and support sofware applications. Creates, modifies, and maintains core Internet, Extranet, and Intranet environment structures and pages within the Adjutant General’s Department. Creates, edits, and distributes various web applications as required using Visual Studio, ASP.NET, C#, jQuery, and Java Script development tools. Uses a solid knowledge of middleware, scripting, file and database management, SQL Server/T-SQL, etc.

Applies current graphics design and web technologies to develop, modify, and maintain organizational SharePoint site. Designs, develops, and manages site content and capabilites and provides daily onsite maintenance of existing SharePoint, ensuring environment is operating efficiently while focussing on continuous improvement, measuring success and client satisfaction. Develops and maintains content DB. Involves maintenance of various logging databases in SQL Server 2012/2014. Assigns appropriate permission levels for all users using Windows Active Directory management for SharePoint.

Ensures system documentation is prepared and updated as assigned projects, problem reports, work requests, and service requests are implemented to allow for effective maintenance/support/enhancement of assigned systems. Creates and/or updates documentation as part of each project and service request/report.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or three years experience coding, testing, and debugging application programs. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency. Experience in SharePoint Designer, SharePoint Server and SharePoint services administration, configuration and installation of web parts and various third party add-ins.

Preferred Qualifications: Three to five years experience at an advanced level in programming, system/program analysi and systems/database design. Work experience in the following; .Net, C#, Window Service, Web Service, MS SQL/SQL Server, scripting, HTML5, JAVAScript, CSS,Powershell, basic database design, and development. Excellent analytical, problem solving and conceptual thinking skills. SharePoint development certification a plus.

Notice: Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Security Clearance within 6 months of employment as a Condition of Employment.
