Web Software Developer/Sharepoint Developer

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Web Software Developer to develop into SharePoint.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing interactive websites on the Microsoft SharePoint platform (2010, 2013, 2016)
  • Designing and developing interactive web and mobile applications
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, and implementing software code with existing or developed systems
  • Analyzing business requirements, researching potential applications, and recommending innovative, cost-effective solutions
  • Optimizing website usability
  • Developing solutions for multimedia training courseware and content delivery
  • Developing the back-end for a range of instructional materials, such as scenario-based and interactive assessment exercises and games for mobile phones and tablets

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
Typically, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 6 years in lieu of degree.

Experience customizing SharePoint websites deployed on large enterprise systems

  • Experience developing and integrating custom applications with SharePoint
  • HTML5 / CSS3 / Responsive Web Design (Bootstrap) experience
  • Experience programming in OOP languages such as JavaScript, Java, C#, Objective C, C++, or VB
  • Experience programming in front-end development frameworks, including Angular JS or Sencha ExtJS
  • Experience in database design and SQL
  • Basic vector and raster graphic design experience in Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Creative, out-of-the-box thinking and problem solving
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications:
BA/BS in Computer Science, Multimedia Design and Development, or related field

  • ASP.NET C# expertise a plus
  • Experience in mobile application development a plus
  • Experience implementing software and web sites that are compliant with Section 508 Accessibility requirements
  • Experience in technology-based learning and course design with a special emphasis on interactive/simulation-based online course development
