The Role:

Web/Email Developer

Auction.com is looking for a very capable front-end / email developer with the ability to create very modern, clean, Responsive designs that work across all browsers and email clients. Current projects include re-doing existing landing pages and email templates, creating additional templates, as well as designing from the ground up.

Qualifications:

Ideally, you will possess the following characteristics and qualifications:

• Web design experience and the ability to demonstrate superior visual, user interface, and interaction design skills; mobile experience a plus
• Experience in email production with a focus on branding, design and interactive projects
• Experience programming and deploying email campaigns from an enterprise email platform
• Proven expertise in best practice HTML, CSS coding for emails
• Javascript / jQuery experience
• Superior organizational skills and ability to take on multiple tasks simultaneously without sacrificing quality or attention to detail
• Ability to manage time effectively, understand directions and work independently
• Strong appreciation for good design.
• Familiarity with web standards and developing designs for multiple browsers, email clients and platforms
• Excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to work well within a team
• Self-directed, with proven ability to manage goals and deadlines effectively
• You’re the kind of person who is demanding on yourself and others and wants to do amazing quality work, but knows how to have fun in the process

Required Qualifications and experience:

• Convert Photoshop/Sketch mocks into pixel perfect HTML layouts
• Knowledge of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and content management systems
• Advanced HTML/XHTML and CSS experience (JavaScript/jQuery development a plus)
• Visual and UX/UI design experience
• WordPress development is a plus
• Knowledge of Marketo or other marketing Automation tools a plus
• Internal tool development
