Web Development Intern

BOSS32 inc, is seeking an entry level Web Development intern. This intern position would be a part-time opportunity in Long Island City. As a Web Development intern for BOSS32 inc, you will work alongside our developers working hands on with web based software package creation.

This would be an opportunity to gain valued experience working in the industry as well as learning more about our web based software and methods.

Responsibilities

• Assists with coding, testing and troubleshooting integration, usability, and functionality of BOSS32 platform
• Work with teams and help develop new features for BOSS32 platform and websites
• Problem solving and daily maintenance to websites and other platforms
• Develop front end templates in HTML5 and in-house technology for websites and other platforms
• Assist with additional projects as needed

Qualifications

• Strong Object-oriented programming skills required
• Prior exposure to SQL & MYSQL required
• Prior experience with web development utilizing technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP preferred
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic work environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal are essential
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Understanding of the Software Development Cycle
