Web Developer, Operator

Hours – Full Time, Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm
Position Summary –
The Web Developer, Operator position provides an excellent opportunity for professional growth to support day-to-day activities encompassing 1) API’s industrial grade Web-to-Print eCommerce Digital Storefront (DSF) front-end operations, and 2) the consolidation and upgrading of API’s traditional web sites.

Technical Requirements –

• An Associate’s degree in Web Technology/Development course work, (preferred), or 2+ years of continuous, commercial Web Technology/Development experience, with references.
• An above average understanding of the principles and mechanics of modern web design and development.

o HTML5 / CSS3 / JavaScript.
o Prototyping of small to medium size projects or changes, for management review and approval prior to implementation.

• Demonstrable proficiency with web page design software and techniques.

o Adobe Dreamweaver CC. (preferred)
o The knowledge to refine software generated layouts with hand coding as required.

• Proficiency with front-end eCommerce software concepts and practice.

o Template-based page design. (FusionPro, Acrobat Pro CC)
o Variable data software. (FusionPro, XMPie)

• Functional understanding of the primary Adobe design tools: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro CC, and the ability to work with an in-house art department to achieve task requirements.
• Platform experience: Windows: Intermediate skills; macOS X: Basic skills.
