Web Developer JAVA Gateway Payment Expereince

POSITION SUMMARY: The key responsibility of this role is to develop and maintain software applications; and take ownership of the project delivery phase.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (other duties may be assigned as needed)

• Must have JAVA Gateway Payment Experience
• Responsible for coding, documentation, testing and debugging of small to large programming projects
• Work with business and management to translate requirements into functional design solutions.
• Create technical design recommendations for developing and integrating programs per written specifications.
• Analyze, create and implement database schemas and queries
• Modify and maintain existing applications based on needs of the business
• Troubleshoot and solve issues with production systems
• Experience with the deployment of software upgrades, enhancements and fixes that are coordinated based on release schedules.
• Remain available during off hours to correct system failures as they occur

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• 3+ years of full stack development experience in Node.js, Django, Rails or similar
• Experience and interest in modern JavaScript frameworks i.e. React, AngularJS
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS
• Computer science degree or equivalent
• Experience with relational databases and SQL is a plus
• Familiarity with Web service and other API concepts
• Has shipped a dynamic web application and can demonstrate expertise
