Web Developer

Tedder Industries, proud home of Alien Gear Holsters , is seeking a full-time, on-site, Web Developer . As one of our talented Web Developers, you will collaborate with key business partners to update and maintain website features and related software applications. This position will be providing world class solutions for both internal and external customers, be responsible for day-to-day operations, maintenance, and optimization of the e-commerce web sites and internal production solutions. Additionally, minor IT duties are included as necessary.

What we want you to do…

Participate in the full software development lifecycle including analysis, design, implementation, and testing.

Maintain existing websites and web applications.

Work with business partners (technical and non-technical) in the creation of requirements and issue resolution.

Create and execute test cases. Ensure the systems meet the functional and non-functional requirements.

Be a team player who can work with other programmers.

Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and efficiently work within deadlines or other time essential constraints.

The qualified candidate we are looking for has the following. . .

BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical discipline , or equivalent years of professional experience/training

2-4 Years of hands-on experience working as a web developer

Well versed in web languages such as PHP, Javascript/jQuery, etc.,

Proficient at SQL databases.

Strong CSS3 / HTML 5 skills

Experience to Magento or an equivalent e-commerce framework preferred.

Experience with system integration.

Quick learner who can take initiative and assume accountability.

Excellent problem solver who can work independently when necessary.

Must be a team player who can work with other programmers.

Highly analytical and detail-oriented.

Ability to prioritize work across multiple projects.

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, in both verbal and written format.

Bonus Skills and Experience…

Experience with the Magento e-commerce framework is a huge plus (Please provide samples of code you’ve written and a list of Magento sites that you’ve worked on).

Working knowledge of agile development is a plus
