About W-A-Y Program

W-A-Y Program is a dynamic blended learning community of high school aged youth (researchers) who are seeking innovative, effective educational options. The primary aim of the W-A-Y Program is to engage teenagers in learning, foster the desire and ability to develop into lifelong learners, achieve their high school diploma and ultimately to become contributors to society.

Qualifications

Developer must possess a working knowledge of the PHP, MySQL, and HMTL. jQuery is also preferred.

Location

Developer must be willing to work in-person full-time at our Ann Arbor, MI office location.

Accountability

Developer will report to the Director of Multimedia and Design or their designee.

Qualifications

Developer must possess good online and in-person communication skills using multimedia.

Key Tasks:

• Develop, debug, and create online student and content management systems.
• Provide technical support for the online systems.
• Support the project team with regard to any technical difficulties which arise.
• Multitask and be prepared to offer support to others in the team as the need arises.
• Support core team in making home visits when necessary.
• Provide information as required.
• Carry out necessary work to remedy any defects and problems.
• Meet deadlines, within the established guidelines of the project.
• Any other duties as required.
