Position Description

AMS Technologies is immediately seeking a Web Developer!! ONLY CANDIDATES WITH AN ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE WILL BE ACCEPTED .

You will support mission-critical applications for our customer, a world-wide recognized organization responsible for law enforcement and intelligence efforts. The position is located near a central Metro accessible DC location.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of development tools such as HTML, XML, JavaScript, Ajax, CSS and JSON
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
• Experience in using Object Oriented Design Techniques
• Understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with various team members and customers
• Understanding of various types of life cycle development including Agile / Scrum lifecycles
• Consulting mentality – willingness to continually raise the bar, customer service first, take ownership and demonstrate joint accountability, and constantly improve and innovate
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Active Top Secret Clearance and will be required to pass a CI Poly

Desired Additional Skills and/or Certifications:

• Experience working in a large, enterprise environment
• Experience using Oracle’s Application Express Development (APEX) tool is highly desired.
