The Full Stack Web Developer – position at Netsmart is for you. This position focuses on supportive maintenance and new development of several of our company websites, as well as strengthening the Netsmart brand and keeping our web assets fresh and on the cutting edge of functionality and usability.

The Web Developer works closely with internal general managers, executives, and more, to translate vision into reality. In addition, the candidate will work closely with our current marketing and design teams while developing and maintaining websites, web ads, email marketing and lead generation web tools that will continue to push Netsmart to new levels.

Major Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain/develop company websites
• Integrate internal systems (i.e., Salesforce) into back-end for data collection/management
• Program online advertising
• Program custom email templates
• Implement new web-based technologies that continue to show Netsmart as a thought leader, as well as on the cutting-edge of technology
• Understanding of SEO in relation to how a site should be built to ensure best search engine results
• Work with graphic designers in creation of web assets

Qualifications:

• Computer Science bachelor’s degree or similar, or previous experience in lieu of degree
• Portfolio of work that demonstrates competence as a web developer
• 5+ years front-end web development experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• 5+ years working with at least one statically-typed OO programming language (C#, Java, C++, etc.)
• 2 years experience with at least one source control system (git, SVN, TFS, etc.)
• Experience with least one back-end web development framework (ASP.NET MVC, Rails, PHP, Django, etc.)
• Solid understanding of relational databases, SQL
• Solid understanding of UX design principles
• Comfort in both Windows and Unix (Mac/Linux/BSD) development environments
• Strong communication/organizational skills
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Superb time project management and people skills under pressure
• Outstanding communication skills as well as attention to detail and quality control
• Must be well organized, detailed oriented, deadline driven and good at relationship building
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while multi-tasking
• Particular knowledge of any of the following is a bonus: C#, PHP, ASP.NET MVC, AngularJS, jQuery, git, F#, functional programming, SQL Server
