Web Developer

The Web Developer is responsible for building, maintaining and supporting web applications using current web technologies and authoring tools.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Understand basic business processes and organizational structure.
• Design, develop and deploy custom DNN modules.
• End user technical support for those cases escalated to the development team.
• System administration of DNN, Windows Server, SQL Server and Internet Information Services.
• Implementation of site enhancements as determined by 3 rd party SEO consultants

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree (computer science) or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, SQL C# Web Forms and Web API
• XML and JSON
• Web UI/CSS/DOM manipulation
• Ability to quickly come up to speed on new technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail.

Preferred

• Experience creating and consuming Web Services (SOAP, REST)
• Development experience with JavaScript libraries like jQuery
• Development experience with JavaScript frameworks like Angular JS
• Familiarity with TFS or other source control system
• System administration experience with SQL Server, Windows Sever and Internet Information Services
• Experience in SEO (search engine optimization)
• Experience with SAML and JWT single sign-on technologies

Working Conditions

Work takes place in an office setting. It requires the ability to sit and work at a keyboard for extended periods of time and communicate with team members by phone, computer, and video teleconferencing.
