The position of Web Developer requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented and technically savvy individual ready to play an active role in the creation and execution of Avintiv Media’s clients’ web design, management and maintenance. We’re looking for someone who has experience in building and maintaining websites, hand-coding HTML, JavaScript, CSS and PHP to support our digital marketing endeavors to our clients.

The right candidate will enjoy working in a start-up atmosphere but be independent enough to meet diverse business needs; have the capability to manage shifting priorities; can work independently but also has a team-oriented mentality.

Responsibilities

• Converting HTML to Word Press them

• Work with graphic designer to implement guidelines for web design

• Ability to convert PSD graphic designs to web

• Ability to code responsive websites or turn websites into responsive sites

• Must have the ability to write readable, maintainable, and efficient code

• Ability to work with all Google tools

• Analyze, review and modify websites by maintaining, documenting, testing and coding.

• Determine architecture, build, etc. for new and existing web projects.

• Assist in implementing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) website updates.

• Communicate with account manager about project updates and timelines

• Manage roll-out of new client websites

• Responsible for weekly maintenance and monitoring of client websites

• Assist the digital marketing team on tasks/projects including email marketing when and lead generation

• Coordinate and administer the schedule and components for all interactive products and services as assigned

• Experience with ecommerce, especially with Woo Commerce platform

Qualifications

Education/Experience

• Minimum of 2 years development experience

• The ability to easily learn new technologies/programming languages

• Ability to accurately gauge and estimate the time required to complete tasks

• Ability to work under pressure and deliver on time

• Experience with in-depth word press sites is a plus

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to manage multiple projects and schedules to meet deadlines

• Ability to adjust set priorities and adjust workflow as required

• Interest and working knowledge in marketing and sales processes

• Excellent communication/organization skills and attention to detail

• Strong client service ability

Proficiency With The Following Web Production Tools/Techniques

• Experience with PHP/HTML/HTML5 and CSS

• Modifying PHP & Word Press plugins and themes

• Word Press Design & Development

• Image Ready for web optimization

• Sitemap generating & in-depth knowledge of Google Webmaster Tools

• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office & Excel

• Advanced knowledge of spreadsheets, databases and Microsoft Office products

• Good understanding of major operating systems.

• Desire to stay updated on new web technologies.
