Web Developer

Griffin Hill is seeking a proven, highly motivated, and high performance Web Developer to join the Utah based team that is committed to success and growth.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build UIs for a variety of products
• Convert mocks and design templates into live sites
• Use effective strategies for developing large-scale websites
• Work with different backends to render pages effectively across all devices and web platforms.
• Ability to write clean, fast PHP to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way
• The work involves nearly all client-side coding.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Minimum of 3 plus years in web development
• BS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• High proficiency in jQuery and WordPress
• Knowledge of XML and XML-based protocols such as SOAP/WS
• Ability to use HTTP and FTP client libraries
• Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, and app development etc.
• Working knowledge of Bootstrap and responsive design
• Experience in common third-party API’s (Google, Facebook, Ebay, etc.)
• Experience developing and supporting highly reliable, scalable systems supporting millions of users
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively to partners and clients
• Experience collaborating on end to end design and development
• Must have excellent ability to work in fast-paced environment under tight deadlines and fast turnarounds
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks of varying complexities and work well under pressure
• Ability to work in highly-collaborative environments and participate in group brainstorming
• Ability to accurately scope projects and give cost estimates of time and required budget
