We have an incredible team that is looking for the right person to help support a critical and growing aspect of our business. Given that much of the work performed by StratComm involves building websites for our 17 federal agency clients, a successful applicant must have significant and varied web development experience.

This job requires a go-getter who takes ownership of a project, someone who doesn’t need to be micromanaged, someone who loves to continue to learn.The right person will be comfortable speaking to clients, all levels of management, staff members, vendors, freelance graphic designers, contractors, and with whomever the company interfaces. He/she will be able to work on tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and be very comfortable analyzing business requirements, making technology and security recommendations, engineering solutions, and debugging system errors. This individual will possess excellent interpersonal skills, an exemplary phone manner, and strong organizational skills, ensuring schedules are always maintained. Requirements:

• Strong technical leadership skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset (will work closely with New Business Development)
• Knowledge of a variety of CMSes, such as ExpressionEngine, Drupal, and WordPress. Drupal experience in particular is required.
• Proficiency in HTML5, Ajax, JQuery, CSS3, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, Java, and Python. Angular experience a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process preferred
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Up to date with the latest Web trends, techniques, and technologies
• Ability to scope and help develop proposals
• Knowledge of ADA Section 508 compliance regulations preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of web development, software architecture/design, or related work experience required
• Professional experience with both back-end and front-end programming
• Master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering or similar preferred
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Engine
