Web Developer

This position is On-site Contract to Permanent only. Offshore or remote workers DO NOT Reply. This position is full time On-site Contract to Permanent only.

This position will report directly to the CTO and CEO and be able to work independently on a range of interesting projects.

The ideal candidate will be able to work on their own to create and maintain websites and web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities:

• Strong knowledge with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript [jQuery])
• Migration of various company websites to the WordPress platform
• Develops and/or modifies existing WordPress templates
• Makes updates to WordPress sites for multiple clients
• Implements code that adheres to industry standards/best practices
• Troubleshoots and self-manages code
• Efficient when working both individually and in a team environment when given project instruction and creative guidelines.

Requirements:

• Passion for development
• A strong understanding of WordPress
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop
• Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter
• Located in the metro Atlanta area
• Reliable means of transportation
• Must have your own laptop
• The candidate will need to be living in the Metro Atlanta area and work in our Marietta, GA office on a Contract to Perm basis. There will not be any telecommuting for this position.

Nice to haves:

• Develops HTML5 and / or native android and iPhone apps
• Expertise with one or more development applications for mobile apps (Android Studio, XCode, Cordova/Phonegap, Appcelerator)
• Expertise with web services creation
