Web and Digital Media Designer

We are seeking a Web and Digital Media Designer to join our team to contribute to our Creative Services Department. This position is essential to product development initiatives as well as providing internal support for all visual media projects (print and web-based). This person will be asked to serve on cross-functional projects primarily related to product development and marketing to contribute to the on-going success of the company. This position is assigned but not limited to the following responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, interaction prototypes, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Implement and develop the layout, design, and revisions of all internal and external websites.
• Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and ease of use to complex design roadblocks
• Develop templates and graphics for company’s digital and mixed-media.
• Collaborate with design and development teams to define and implement solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
• Miscellaneous duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience with user interface and prototype design for new products and features.
• Proficient in HTML, WordPress, and Adobe software (i.e. PhotoShop, Illustrator, Flash, DreamWeaver, etc.).
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline to design and/or technology.
• Demonstrate UI design skills with a strong portfolio
• Ability to work with our designers to elevate the execution and interactivity of our current website design and functionality.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work within the parameters of a marketing plan.
