  • Point of contact for Audits (AIB, Self Assessments, etc.)
  • Ensuring all Period End activities are complete (shipments, receipts, cycle counts, scrap notes, dunnage, etc.)
  • Issuing cycle counts and tracking for completion
  • Management of discards
  • Management of warehouse space and yard space for storing materials
  • Any project-related activities that include the Logistics Area
  • Transfer outbound shipments of Finished Good to third party/New Bern logistics
  • Conducting Period reconciliation
  • Receiving/Creating P.O’s and STO ’s.
  • Monitors inventory and analyzes requirements to achieve desired delivery times and order fill rates.
  • Supports counting, data input and reconciliation for physical inventories
  • Audit of transactional accuracy
  • Coordinating trailer utilization for Shipping, and storage of Finish Goods and Raw Materials
  • Process credit memos
  • Assist in training employees
  • Provides support to the operations team
  • Develop programs to drive improvement
  • Assists in the development of processes, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control
  • Maintains appropriate records
  • Provide support to ensure adherence to all Sox policies and procedures related to inventory
  • Support operational partners with business issues related to inventory, transactions, usage or other related areas
  • Support Quality Hold process and identify potential issues.
  • Filing of all count sheets, reconciliations and pertinent reports.
  • Will be cross-trained and act as a backup to support other Inventory Control functions
  • Blind receiving
  • Support with accident reporting
  • Reviews freight invoices and sends approvals to Freight Payables for detention layover and vehicles ordered not used charges
  • All other duties as assigned by management
  • Qualifications/Requirements

  • 2-3+ years of administrative experience. Manufacturing or warehousing experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated high degree of competence with Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel, Local Area Network; and the ability to learn specific computerized data entry processes.
  • High school degree required,
  • 3 years of computerized inventory control and production scheduling experience preferred.
  • Ability to create and maintain complex computerized spreadsheets.
  • Professional level of interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently without close supervision to expedite and follow up on requests and assigned projects.
  • Proficiency in Inventory systems preferred i.e. SAP , WMS, INFOR.
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Work in Cold Room environment.
  • Ability to open trailers doors to check contents.
  • Relocation Eligible: Not Eligible for Relocation
