VP Marketing

Job Description

Enhance the AudioEye story and maximize the exposure of its products, brand and mission in a competitive B2B marketplace.

The Vice President of Marketing is responsible for architecting and implementing the brand identity or the company and the go to market strategy. Specific responsibilities include business and market development including lead generation strategies; craft all company communications; market research and planning; strategic direction for social media and advertising; and directing the day-to-day activities of all marketing and communication activities.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Serve as marketing leader of the company, providing support in all areas of marketing strategy and management.
  • Develop the annual marketing, strategies, tactics and resources necessary to achieve quarterly and annual goals.
  • Provide leadership and/or support the design, development, and implementation of products and service lines.
  • Oversee and provide direction to the market and competitor analysis.
  • Lead the drafting process of all media releases and public communications.
  • Provide leadership, direction and management of all social media and SEO/SEM functions.
  • Create an institutional and system-wide marketing reporting function that can track, measure and analyze performance.
  • Ensure all marketing communications are coordinated, support marketing plan objectives and are an effective expenditure of resources.
  • Provide leadership and support to the company’s development of public communications in conjunction with appropriate filings for a public company.
  • Coordinate marketing efforts of resellers with strategic plans and objectives.
  • Provide marketing skills and expertise to the company by building, developing and managing a marketing plan capable of carrying out all the necessary marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Participate fully in professional societies and activities related to the disabilities and software industries in general and the marketing profession in particular.
  • Prepare presentations to explain the company’s current and future strategies.

Work Environment

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, smart phones, and scanners.
  • This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as needed. Limited travel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree (B.A or B.S) from four-year college or university. Marketing and communications emphasis preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience and a demonstrated track record of marketing function accomplishments in a corporate setting.
  • Technology company experience is a plus.

Pay Scale

  • $90,000 – $105,000 annually, based on experience
