Vice President of Finance for Latin America

Provides management, leadership, development, and direction on financial management and best practices to the LatAM finance team. Oversees, monitors and reports the financial performance of the LatAM organization as well as provides support in the M&A Process.

•Performs due diligence for all acquisitions across Latin American Region. Manages all financial functions in newly acquired acquisitions including business controllers, billing, and collections. Supports the migration of accounts payable to corporate department.

•Manages the coordination, analysis and communication of monthly financial performance, forecasts, budgets, and long range strategic plan for the Latin American business. Works with operations to drive gross margin expansion and operational efficiencies.

•Assures compliance of financial statements according to USGAAP. Regional standard of procedures and SOX.

•Support the LEAN process within the global finance organization by participating in all projects which represent efficiency, savings or both to the Company.

•Develops business unit analytics to support operations, sales & marketing, and pricing. Builds dashboards to drive operational efficiency to expand gross margin and return on key investments in sales and technology.

•Directs the company’s Latin American treasury operations and manage the Latin American interest rate and availability of credit for acquisitions and growth while ensuring that the treasury operations are run in an efficient manner, including but not limited to cash and foreign exchange management.

•Directs the company’s Latin American tax operations and manage the company’s Latin American tax rate while ensuring that the tax dept operations are run in an efficient manner and that the company is timely and compliant with all tax filings.

•Manages contract management, billing, and collection processes to support growth. Works with newly acquired businesses to integrated billing & collections into current platform.

Position Requirements

•Education equivalent to BA, BS Degree in Accounting or Finance, or the equivalent in related work experience. MBA and CPA preferred. IFRS, SOX and USGAAP experience required.

•Ten or more years of experience in finance along with five or more years of work experience in a key lead-ership role in a global corporation. Experience within manufacturing, distribution, sales and marketing preferred. Experience working across Latin American countries preferred.

•Complete fluency in English, Portuguese and Spanish required.
