VB.Net/ASP.NEt Programmer

Developer Requirements:
Visual Basic:
Minimum 5 years Visual Basic .NET experience (VBA and Vbscript is not included) in an object oriented environment.

Projects must include the following:
N-Tier Development (DNA architecture), and Component Design

ADO

Intricate knowledge of XML

Database Transactions

Use of Third Party Tools

Use of Data sets and Data tables

Web, Client/Server:
Minimum 5 Years client/server or web based development experience

Web Technologies must include: vbscript, javascript, ASP .NET, AJAX.

Client/Server Skills: User Interface Design, Business Logic and Database component development.

Database:
Database experience must include at least 5 years developing in a high end relational database system such as Microsoft SQL Server.

Use of: Stored Procedures, Triggers, DTS, Database Design, Table Design, Optimization techniques

Must be familiar with declarative system architectures

Object Oriented Skills:
Must possess a thorough understanding of “Object Oriented development techniques. Experience with Component Development and N-Tier architecture in a visual basic dot NET development environment.

Web/Internet Technologies:
At Least 3 Years development experience with ASP.NET, Web Services, IIS, TCP/IP, SSL, XML, FTP.

Desired but not necessary: (Should have at least one of these)

Should have some experience in an architectural role: Preferably in Microsoft technologies

Required Intangibles:
Must be able to think independently and create as well as develop

Must be reliable, thorough, and able to think out of the box

Willingness to learn and take constructive criticism
