UX Developer

Perks is looking for a motivated User Experience designer/developer. A UX Developer at Perks should be comfortable identifying a problem, designing a solution, and then building that solution with HTML, CSS, and Javascript. This role is responsible for creating new features on our latest product as well as helping to maintain and improve previous features on all of our current platforms.

Primary Responsibilities

Work with stakeholders to understand needs and design UX/UI solutions.

Manage a large LESS codebase while focusing on usability, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive layouts.

Work with Full-Stack Developers to ensure finished features are cohesive, effective, and delivered on time.

Create and implement new themes for the platform according to client guidelines.

Qualifications

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Javascript including jQuery

Experience with Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator, or other similar design tools

Ability to turn sketches or wireframes into high-fidelity designs

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

A passion for visual design and staying up to date with trends
