USA - GA, LaGrange - Executive Director

Habitat for Humanity, Troup County, Inc., a regional affiliate that serves six counties in Alabama and Georgia is currently accepting applications for our Executive Director position. Our position is open due to the upcoming retirement of our current Executive Director.

A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS PROVEN ABILITIES OR POTENTIAL IN THE FOLLOWING KEY AREAS:

Provide overall management leadership to the affiliate in accordance with goals and objectives set by the local board of directors.
Work closely with the local board’s mission while anticipating and planning for our future.
Develop keen working understanding of all aspects of Habitat’s mission and strategies.
Manage all aspects of organizational operations, including, but not limited to: construction, ReStore, family services, development and volunteer coordination.
Represent Habitat in a variety of settings, including, but not limited to: local governments, service and civic groups, corporations, churches, trade organizations, Habitat state-support organizations, and other not-for-profits. Candidate should have ability to make effective presentations and communicate clearly to groups of any size and make-up.
Maintain high standards of integrity, transparency, professionalism, commitment to the mission and stewardship of donor contributions.
Aptitude to prepare and evaluate budgets, analyze trends and manage cash flow.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting expectations of stakeholders.
Possess a basic understanding of real estate transactions, property development, mortgage lending and collections, construction and volunteer management, human resources, retail operations and business development.
