Unidata Delivery Lead

CGI has an immediate need for a Unidata Delivery Lead in Eden Prairie, MN. If you have been working in the healthcare industry, this is the chance to further advance your career.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
10 or more years of professional IT work experience, with 5 or more years as a Delivery Lead / PM.

• Technical hands on experience with Unidata technology

• Experience in managing Unidata technologies projects

• Experience in managing team size of 40 to 50 resources

• Experience with Onsite and Offshore model

• Experience with healthcare is desired

• Ability to work under minimal supervision and direction

• Experience getting results under short timelines.

• Good understanding of the SDLC lifecycle

• Experience with both start up and fortune 500 companies is a plus

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Using established PM practices, delivers projects on time and within budget adhering to high quality standards and meeting customer expectations

• Manages projects using Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

• Identifies and tracks key project milestones and adjusts project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers

• Partners with senior management to identify and prioritize opportunities to achieve the goals of the enterprise

• Manages to schedule and coordinates resources to ensure alignment of project deliverables

• Reports and, as necessary, escalates issues and risks associated with solution delivery

Qualifications:

• Technical hands on experience with Unidata technology

• Experience in managing Unidata technologies projects

• Experience in managing team size of 40 to 50 resources

• Experience with Onsite and Offshore model

• Demonstrated experience with PMBOK based project management control processes & techniques (risk, change, schedule, cost, & quality management)

• Ideally, 1-5 years of Agile experience. Must understand basic concepts of how scrum teams work and how Product Increment (PI) planning occurs so that he/she can support quarterly planning activities by release trains.

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to execute with limited information and ambiguity.

• Extensive knowledge of schedule management and be able to discern relevant dependencies.

• Strong financial acumen, proven ability to connect the linkages of the project results to the financial and business benefits.

• Strong technical acumen with the ability to translate business needs into technical language and vice versa.

• Strong communicator (ability to communicate at all levels), skilled at stakeholder management (setting and managing expectations) and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.

• Adept at negotiating; able to resolve conflict and adapt to different approaches using a variety of tactics

• Ability to deal with politics

• Ability to facilitate large groups (in person or over the phone)

• Ability to navigate a highly-matrixed organization effectively.

• Influencing skills (sound business and technical acumen as well as skilled at achieving buy-in for delivery strategies)

• Ability to be highly effective in a rapidly-changing business and technology environment

• Solid working knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel required

• Working knowledge of Clarity and Rally desired

• Experience with both start up and fortune 500 companies is a plus
