Current Need:

We are currently seeking a UIX Developer who will build innovative products, with great user experiences, scalable to thousands of users and customers a day. Supported by an energetic community of development peers, this leader will also help develop standards for a consistent and effective user experience across a suite of integrated products.

Responsibilities:

• Build mockups and prototypes to communicate and refine product concepts.
• Contribute scalable, production-ready code for user-facing features
• Develop reusable application components
• Promote best practices for web user experience
• Support marketing and merchandising initiatives
• Work closely with UX/UI to advise on technical performance and feasibility of new design ideas
• Create and maintain suites of tests ensuring the proper functionality of systems

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Typically has 7+ years’ relevant experience

Critical Skills:

• eCommerce development experience preferred
• Experience with client-side JavaScript libraries for enriched experiences
• Experience with WordPress and PHP development
• Good hold in progressive enhancement and responsive design concepts (Mobile and web platforms)
• Creative in thought process to understand the requirements and quickly prototype using the baseline technologies mentioned above
• Understanding of Standards /Guidelines on theming for prototyping.
• UX Designing experience
• Analyzing the requirements and work with product and service leaders to aid in the Web User interface design of the application.
• Designing the User Interface and building the business logic through Code. Storing information in database and presenting the user data and other statistics in efficient manner at User Interface
• Develop Responsive Web screens to maintain the consistency among all the devices Mobile, Tablet and Desktop computer and to have rich user experience, though out the application.
• Designing applications which execute on various browsers such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Opera without any cross-browser compatibility issues

Additional Knowledge & Skills:

• Relevant work experience and portfolio of design work
• Experience maintaining and developing on WordPress
• 2+ years of experience in web development as part of a cross-functional development team.
• Hands-on expertise with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Demonstrated experience with web frameworks and toolkits such as ReactJS, Angular or Vue
• Demonstrated experience with Node and webpack
• Familiarity with best practices for web usability and interaction design
• Familiarity with open source JavaScript frameworks and components with the ability to make recommendations on their usage
• Deep understanding of browser capabilities, browser security concerns such as cross-site scripting, and cross-browser incompatibilities
• Experience developing for mobile platforms is a plus
• Experience building solutions for high traffic web applications a plus
• Experience with full stack development is a plus
• Experience with network/security is a plus

Education:

4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
