UI / UX Developer

Our corporate client based in Lisle, IL is looking for an UX/UI Devloper. This is a 6 months contract. This client requires an inperson interview after the telephonic interview hence only candidates from IL, WI, IA, IN who can come for an inperson interview. Also this position requires the candidate to be on our W2.

Looking for someone with Modern app experience: twitter, snapchat, instagram or equivalent. We are seeking a highly creative UX/UI Designer to collaborate with a diverse team of UX/UI professionals, developers, subject matter experts and customers on the user experience and interface of our products. The candidate needs to be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows, and transform highly analytical and creative ideas into engaging, intuitive, and functional user interfaces. Requirements:

• Proven record of relevant experience or strong portfolio of sample work is a must
• Excellent prototyping skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a highly creative development team working on multiple development projects with quick turnaround times

Required Skills: UX/UI design

• Full or part time work experience demonstrating ability to understand goals, achieve objectives and meet deadlines
• Essentials front end development: HTML5, CSS3
• Graphic tools: Adobe Cloud Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop
• Information Architecture: one of the following: Axure, iRise, JustInMind, or similar
• Working experience with Titatnium/Appcelerator is preferred.
• Prototyping tools: Invision or similar

Responsibilities:

• Will join a collaborative software development team working on our innovative software tools and solutions
• Support the overall line designs and layouts for prototype
• Conduct user research for formulating concepts/ideas that bring simplicity to complex design roadblocks
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
• Collaborate on improving the company website and branding design

Required Education: Bachelor’s in Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Digital Media, User Experience or related degree
