Position Summary :
This position will influence the direction of the development team’s user-interface and interaction by using best practices to complement our back-end functionality. You are an innovator with have hands on experience implementing dynamic user interfaces compatible with multiple browsers. You’re able to think strategically, willing to assist in the development of specifications, and always looking for ways to incorporate new and emerging technologies to better our customer experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to develop and support end-to-end web solutions in a high performance environment

Drive innovation using new technology on multi-browser/device development

Ability to develop quickly and with high quality via sprints under the Agile methodology

Work side-by-side with User Experience designers, leveraging multimedia content creation applications and digital media to continuously strive for the best customer experience

Collaborate with stakeholders, development teams, and business analysts to help prioritize stories and build technical requirements

Review code and provide positive feedback with suggestions on how to improve performance, quality, and delivery within organizational standards and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience:
Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, Flexbox

Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS

Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery

Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS, etc

Proficient understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX

Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git / TFS / Mercurial / SVN

Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them
