As a Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

  • We have an opportunity available for a UI/UX Designer who will be responsible for gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements and building navigation components. In order to be considered for the position you need to have experience with design software and wireframe tools. We would also like to see your portfolio of professional design projects which should include web and mobile applications.

    Responsibilities:

  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers, while striving to deliver intuitive and user centered solutions.

  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps

  • Plan and implement new designs

  • Optimise existing user interface designs

  • Test for intuitivity and experience

  • Conduct ongoing user research

  • Develop user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets

  • Build page navigation buttons and search fields

  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes and clearly illustrate how sites function and look

  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems such as responsiveness

  • Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback

  • Adhere to style standards based on the Corporate Identity.

  • Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 – 7 years working experience as a UI/UX designer

  • Relevant tertiary qualification

  • Design portfolio with recent project details

  • Working experience in HTML5, XHTML, CSS3, jQuery/JavaScript

  • Knowledge of Usability Factors in Human Computer Interaction

  • Up to date working experience in design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, and Dreamweaver.

  • Working experience in wireframe tools.
