The Job.

The UI Developer is an expert designer with some serious chops in front-end web development. You are a true craftsperson and love to bring ideas to life. You have empathy and it’s easy for you to style a product to convey the perfect message for the product’s demographic. You can also take that design and work with others to code it out. You care about the details, but you know what should be left on the cutting room floor in order to complete the project.

You.

You love working with people and are easy to talk to. You can joke around about times when you made a mistake and be proud of the times when you accomplished something great. You have fluency in best practices for interaction design — CSS/Less/Sass/Bootstrap and JQuery. You also have confidence in the React family of patterns and a strong portfolio to showcase your prowess. The UI Developer creates a kinder user experience that helps turn a very difficult time of life into courageous conversations that make divorce a little easier one step at a time.

You Can.

As a UI Developer at Wevorce, you will:

  • Conceptualize, design, and help build innovative new ideas that have a measurable impact on the customer journey
  • Clearly articulate design ideas using wireframes, user flows, mockups, prototypes, etc.
  • Build mobile-first responsive apps that look amazing on any device
  • Understand the needs of the user and interpret those needs into working software
  • Create beautiful designs for both the UI of the product as well as for the supporting collateral

You Have.

  • A Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least four years of experience designing outstanding web-based products for a consumer-oriented website
  • Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React is a plus, as well as experience with A|B testing
  • Proficiency in a variety of design tools (e.g. Adobe CC, Photoshop, Sketch, Invision, etc)
  • An ability to thrive in a fast-paced changing environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously with tight timelines, learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills including the ability to communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and levels of the organization
  • WordPress experience is preferred
