UI Developer

Kochava creates real-time user tracking & attribution analytics tools for mobile advertising. We are growing fast and are looking to add talented, dedicated equity shareholders at our corporate headquarters.

Kochava is located in Sandpoint, Idaho, one of the most beautiful small towns in the country, with access to world class skiing and one of the largest lakes west of the Mississippi. We’re looking for a UI Developer to function as a central member of Kochava’s front-end development team. The mobile user tracking and attribution market is challenging, dynamic, fun, and provides almost unlimited opportunities for personal and professional growth.

We are looking for dedicated team players that are comfortable with self-direction, and inspired by the thrill of building creative solutions to challenging problems. Several of our programmers are self-taught, so a degree is not a necessity. However, a love of programming and ability to work in a team are both a must. Supportive of a non-typical (8-5) work schedule as needed.

Unfortunately, at this point we cannot support remotely located team members.

Job Responsibilities:
Develop & deliver front end-design assets using clean, easy-to-read, semantic HTML/JS/CSS/SCSS

Review specifications & provide time estimates on the development of projects & features

Identify user interface requirements & translate them into design solutions

Create prototypes to explore design ideas & support usability testing

Experience/Skills Required:
2+ years experience of developing WordPress themes and plugins

Excellent PHP skills in both backend and frontend development

Experienced writing CSS in the SASS/LESS extension languages

Bonus:
Experience with multiple programming languages

A/B testing experience

Unit testing guidelines

Extra bonus points for strong understanding of MVC PHP frameworks, Javascript framework, JSON/REST Web Services & HTML5/CSS3

Willingness to graciously switch gears & go the extra mile when changes alter project priorities
