The Role:

Join a high performing agile web applications engineering team as a web developer working in HTML/.js/css and Enterprise Java, work on TiVo’s customer facing TVE web applications, design and build diagnostic tools that expose box/service configuration issue that take down TVE soft clients (iOS/Android/Web), evaluate and recommend a .js unit test framework for the overall team.

An ideal candidate should have the following:

o Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, and other web technologies

o Strong knowledge of jQuery and jQuery UI

o Experience with HTML5 and CSS3, knowing which features are ready for use

o Familiarity with developing database driven web applications

o Database expertise (RDBMS, NoSQL, Big Data solutions, next generation solutions)

Big plus if the candidate also has:

o Experience developing HTML5 applications

o Experience with SASS or LESS and Foundation frontend framework

o Some knowledge of web application frameworks such as Spring MVC

o Good communication with Java developers and UI Designers
