Treasury Services-Product Delivery Solutions Manager-Healthcare, VP

About the role:

J. P. Morgan is a market leading provider of Treasury Services to the healthcare industry.
We are currently seeking a product delivery manager with revenue cycle management experience to serve on the Treasury Services Healthcare Product Management team responsible for the following:
  • Supporting senior product managers in the on-going development and realization of the end-to-end healthcare strategy for wholesale banking
  • Ensuring Treasury Services products are compliant with HIPAA regulatory requirements
  • Owning the healthcare vendor product delivery roadmap
  • Partnering with technology and operations to deliver new features and enhancements for healthcare clients
  • Participating in agile software development sessions
Healthcare Product Management
  • Provide revenue cycle management insight to identify areas of opportunity and assist in defining wholesale banking strategies to improve delivery of services
  • Support senior product managers to draft business requirements, manage and prioritize projects across groups, assist in developing strategic direction, and other activities as needed
  • Partner with cross functional teams including sales, service, implementations, technology, and operations to successfully execute market launch of new services
Healthcare Vendor Management
  • Develop product roadmap, enhancements, and requirements in partnership with technology and operations staff
  • Provide oversight for the vendor control assessment
  • Monitor and provide oversight for development delivery
  • Manage market readiness communications for vendor enhancements
  • Manage product cross-impacts when new enhancements are delivered
  • Act as the escalation point for unresolved vendor production defects
  • Review and certify monthly vendor billing activity to ensure accuracy and complete revenue capture
HIPAA Privacy Compliance
  • Partner with privacy compliance and control functions to ensure alignment with stated policies and procedures across Receivables products that process PHI
  • Update Treasury Services SOPs to handle and disclose PHI as needed
  • Act as the business point of contact for HIPAA related requests, disclosures, and training
  • At least 7 years of related experience; ideal examples include working in a hospital as a revenue cycle manager or analyst with an understanding of insurance rules and healthcare data analytics
  • Working knowledge of facility/physician billing, patient management systems, and healthcare clearing houses including relevant EDI data sets
  • Experience in conducting medical cost and revenue analyses using claims, billing errors, and denial data to identify root causes
  • Knowledge of insurance contract terms, fee schedules and claims processing
  • Strong project management skills including a well-organized, structured approach, and the ability to achieve tight timelines on complex deliverables
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, attentive to details, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated communication and diplomacy skills to work cross-organizationally to influence others, drive results/change, and implement projects/processes
  • Experience in product management and/or development is a plus
  • Must possess the ability to translate product vision into phased design requirements and execute market launch
  • BA/BS in Healthcare Administration, Management, Economics, or a related discipline required; MHA or MBA preferred
Experience with the Following Skills Preferred
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following patient accounting systems: Epic, GE/IDX, Sage, McKesson, Allscripts, OnBase, Meditech
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following ERP systems: SAP, Oracle, Infor, Workday
  • Knowledge of healthcare technology companies, financial technology companies, and competitive landscape in this space
  • Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (must be very strong in Excel)
  • Software development lifecycle
  • Requirements definition and documentation
  • Ability to write copy for marketing materials
