Treasury Analyst

Overview: The Treasury Analyst is responsible for the execution of J.Crew’s global daily cash position, domestic and international store and corporate banking, and foreign exchange back office settlement. This position reports to the Senior Director of Treasury Operations. Key Responsibilities:

Settle consolidated global daily cash position

Maintain/enter wire templates & transfers for all J.Crew domestic/global entities

Conduct corporate cash investment analysis and reporting

Confirm foreign exchange, investment, and debt transactions

Support foreign exchange forecasting process

Ensure compliance with SOX and internal Treasury controls, policies and procedures; maintain departmental narratives

Prepare month-end fiscal close reports for General Accounting

Prepare and maintain monthly/quarterly bank fee analysis to include benchmarking of fees

Responsible for all aspects of domestic and international bank account openings, closings, and changes

Analyze credit card fees/arrangements and prepare reporting, including support of international merchant services acquiring

Monitor and maintain systemic concentration of funds

Ad hoc reporting and project work as required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or similar field

1-2 years of Treasury experience for a global retail fortune 500 company preferred

Exposure to international banking setups a plus

Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation (or interest in obtaining)

Superior analytical, quantitative and critical thinking skills

Strong interpersonal skills

Aptitude to excel in a dynamic work environment while managing multiple projects with varying deadlines

Ability and eagerness to continually expand financial management skill-set and company-specific knowledge base
