Travel Consultant

Travel Agent Position. We are looking for a person passionate about travel and working with the public. Please email cover letter and a resume.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with group travel opportunities that our company provides
• Work with individual clients to plan their leisure travel
• Book transportation, hotel reservations and air tickets
• Enter data into our software system and maintain client files
• Network with tour operators

Requirements:

• A self-starter with strengths in organization, record keeping and details
• Ability to interact and communicate well
• Working knowledge of the travel industry
• Strong sales skills and knowledge of world geography
• Degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business or relevant field is helpful
• Personal travel experience will be considered an advantage
