Bakersfield Memorial Hospital is a 426 bed acute care medical center offering a full range of services including the Sarvanand Heart and Brain Center, Grossman Burn Center at Memorial Hospital, expanded maternity and family care, the Lauren Small Children’s Center, orthopedic services, wound care center, 24-hour emergency care and general/outpatient surgery. Responsibilities


Position Summary:

The Trasnporter will perform guest services such as transporting patients and non-patients and materials, accommodating linkage throughout the facility.

Qualifications


Minimum Requirements:

  • Healthcare BLS CPR certification, AHA is required
  • High school, GED or equivalent technical training
  • Preferred Skills:

  • Previous Hospital Transport or Guest Relations experience is preferred.
  • Two years Patient Transport experience preferred.
  • Training:

    BMH Physical Therapy Department will provide training for patient transfer and proper lifting procedures.
