Trading Operations Analyst

As an analyst you are interfacing directly with markets , and responsible for the operation, improvement, and ongoing implementation of our automated trading strategies. You will monitor risk, reconcile positions, liaise with trading counter-parties, and verify trading activity, in close collaboration with other traders and the development team. No finance background is necessary or expected. We are not seeking any specific expertise, but you should have demonstrated a depth of understanding in an analytic field. You should be energized by seeing projects through to completion, and driven to understand a problem beyond what is necessary for a solution.

Virtu has a flat hierarchy within which new ideas are well received; you will actively participate in the continuous improvement of our systems from day one.

Requirements

• Excellent test scores and high academic marks.
• Strong mathematical aptitude.
• The ability to communicate information precisely and with agility .
• Some programming experience.
