Job Description

We are looking for the right individual to join our team of highly skilled Technical Support Engineers.

The ideal person:

The ideal person sees a problem through to its resolution and champions the customer within the company. This is a very hands-on position, working on clients’ remote servers, installing/upgrading and troubleshooting client issues.

This position is based in Beaverton, OR 97006. There is no relocation reimbursement available.

Required Skills:

  • Systematic, methodical and process oriented
  • Use of ticketing system or CRM
  • Strong technical and problem solving skills in Enterprise class applications built on Windows platform, SQL Server and Web servers like Apache Tomcat (could be ERP, CRM type applications)
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Excellent customer communication and handling skills
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with end-user/customer support.
  • Good background in network troubleshooting

Desired Skills:

  • Microsoft Windows Server systems administration.
  • Work with WireShark Traces
  • Knowledge of VMware and virtualized environments
  • Knowledge of SQL Server Database (MS Sql, MySql)
  • Knowledge of VOIP protocols and trouble shooting
  • Knowledge of Phone Systems and PRI, Analog lines
  • Networking Setup and Maintenance
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

This is a F/T position, M-F with initial hours likely of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Salary $15-$20 per Hr DOE. We offer Medical and Dental benefits, paid vacation and a 401(k). Reply with Resume and cover letter.
