Technical Program Manager – ERP

As a technical program manager on our software platform focus on the ERP solution, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the ERP solution at Molekule. You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will develop programs to support the organization’s strategic direction, as well as create and manage long term goals. You will be the Product Owner, continuously evolve the Product Backlog: adding, removing, and re-prioritizing items based on learnings while adapting to changes. You maintain transparency by surfacing visibility to higher management, the team and customers. You work with the Team and customers to ensure that items are clear. You adaptively decide what items to offer each new Sprint.

Responsibilities

  • Lead functional and IT process teams to deliver solutions for production ERP releases including design, development, configuration, testing and release
  • Coordinate with development and other teams as needed to support ERP releases
  • Evaluate market ERP solutions, create comparison analysis and present recommendations.
  • Coordinate outsourced supplier efforts as required
  • Be accountable for operational excellence of assigned production releases, with duties including project reviews, feasibility, cost benefit analysis, prioritization, initiation, work planning, execution and closure for all project work related to the program
  • Maintain effective working relationships with peers and vendors to seamlessly integrate the program area into the overall strategic objectives and activities of the organization
  • Ensure conformance to system architecture, standards and practices
  • Prepare and present project plans, status reports, cost / benefit studies and recommend funding and resources
  • Act as a change agent to streamline solution delivery processes
  • Stay current with enabling technologies and work as a partner to promote their use
  • Develop metrics to assess the success of products features and determine necessary enhancements.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of software development management, program management or product owner experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with ERP systems (preferrably Hybris-SAP)
  • 3+ years of experience working with agile frameworks, preferably SAFe or LeSS.
  • 1+ experience with Jira, Confluence and Aha! is preferable.
  • Experience working directly with designers to design and iterate on products.
  • Ability to be creative, strategic, analytical, and think outside the box to solve problems.
  • Strong project management and time management skills.
  • Interpersonal skills with keen ability to explain complex concepts across the organization and to large audiences.
