Technical Communications Center Representative

Overview:
Inovalon is currently recruiting a Technical Communication Center Representative. The Technical Communication Center Representatives (TCCR) deliver technical support to health care providers and initiate telephonic outbound calls to individuals enrolled with health plan clients. The TCCR also describes Inovalon Chronic Care Solutions program benefits to individual patients and attempts to engage and enroll client patients into the Inovalon chronic care management program.

Responsibilities:
Provide primary technical support for users of Inovalon software applications;

Investigate and resolve technical issues related to Inovalon software applications and the end user;

Complete telephonic Welcome Calls to engage and enroll patients into a chronic care management program;

Ability to schedule appointments on behalf of patients with health care providers and communication center nurses;

Communicates professionally with client organization patients, providers and caregivers to obtain or provide clinical and/or programmatic information;

Triage inbound calls and direct to appropriate team members;

Collect clinical information and simultaneously document data into a computer-based program;

Schedule appointment on behalf of patient with external healthcare providers and internal communication center nurses;

Appropriately document all relevant information regarding patients and providers while abiding by all HIPAA and associated patient confidentiality requirements;

Maintain compliance with Inovalon policies and procedures; and

Meet and exceed predetermined goals – present marketing/sales initiatives and special campaigns to various members.

Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in a technical support environment;

Minimum 2+ years of consumer sales or customer service call center experience is required;

BS degree in computer sciences, software design, information systems, or equivalent experience in the field;

Proficient in Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office (excel, word, project, etc) and Outlook; and

Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
