Systems Engineer

Description of Duties:

Primary role will be helping facilitate enterprise migrations, upgrades and deployments across SOC Telemed’s network. This position may require some direct-to-employee support and requires excellent verbal and written communication/customer service skills. Other responsibilities may include systems/network administration and monitoring of application, server and VMware health.

• Windows 10 imaging and deployment
• Server patching
• Project-specific work
• Participate in regular, rotational on-call support with other team members
• Maintain systems documentation

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in systems administration role with 500+ users spanning multiple sites with heavy teleworking presence
• EXPERT LEVEL: Migration planning, execution and support
• EXPERT LEVEL: GPO design and troubleshooting
• Compliance experience (SOC, HIPAA, PCI, etc)
• VMWare 6+
• Windows 2012/2016
• Attention to detail and timeline (project) adherence
• Excellent multitasking capabilities with tasks/tickets

Preferred:

• Understanding of networking
• Deployment automation (GPO, SCCM, Kaseya)
• Business continuity and disaster recovery design, implementation and testing
• BS or BA degree in related field
