Responsibilities:

JOB SUMMARY: The System Architect designs complete and complex frameworks, systems or products. Defines processes for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility. Conceives system interfaces and business application prototypes. Identifies, analyzes and resolves system design weaknesses. Influences the shaping of future products by contributing to the framework (architecture) used across multiple platforms, products or systems. Provides multi-layered technical expertise for next generation initiatives.

KEY COMPETENCIES:

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This role has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position operates in an office setting, and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers/scanners/fax machines, and filing cabinets.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This is mainly a sedentary role; however, computer and office work is required. The computer work would require the ability to sit comfortably for long periods of time, typing/keyboarding skills, ability to focus on a computer screen; bend, stand, lift files, and open/close filing cabinet drawers. The travel requirements would require the ability to sit comfortably for extended periods of time.

TRAVEL: 25% – up to 50% domestic travel is expected for this position.
