Job overview and responsibilities
This position provides analytical support and services within loyalty IT. This role is responsible to partner with business team members to gather business requirements and work with developers to create funcation specification requirements, Test Documents, Use Cases in the Software Development lifecycle. Assist in business process redesign as needed. Maintain communication with customer, team members & other stake holders across the organization and promote a team environment.
Projects
  • Works on multiple projects as assigned by team lead and adhere to the IT Software Development Lifcycle
  • Requires guidance for complex projects
  • Works indepently on low to moderately complex projects
  • May manage projects of limited scope
  • Facilitate meetings with IT teams and business partners to gather and document requirements
  • Works with developers to document technical requirements based on gathered business requirements
  • Develop workflow models and process maps beased on imput from multiple sources
Releases
  • Analyzes efficiencies and effectiveness of current solutions
  • Partners with business peers to ensure client success
  • Documents service levels and reports metrics on service level performance
  • Has basic understanding of business principals and processes
  • Coordinates Release management of IT implementations
  • Coordinates Change Management of I Implementations
Personal Development
  • Reviews yearly goals and contributes to goal definitions/discussions
  • Identify and develop actions plans for professional development and aligns plans with yearly goals
  • Ensures assigned training courses and programs are completed in a timely fashion
Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in technology related field
  • Possesses technical aptitude to solve problems in a technical team environment
  • Java and/or .net development experience in the past
  • Ability to download, build, step through source code and be able to create work flow diagrams
  • Excellent Communications Skills
  • Working experience with Software Development Lifecycle
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • 5 years of experience
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
Preferred
  • Master’s in technology related field
  • Previous airline experience
  • Java and/or .net development experience
