Responsibilities

This position is responsible for support and maintenance of CIBC’s mortgage applications and interfaces from both a technical and business perspective. The Systems Analyst works with the business toward understanding their use of mortgage services. He/she plays an integral role in working with the vendor on the installation, configuration, system integration testing and evaluation of new and upgraded technologies producing deliverables related to specific projects. He/She will coordinate the development and implementation of custom API’s or SDK integration with third party applications. He/She will recommend enhancements to the systems for efficiency and productivity improvements. In addition, he/she will administer the application including system configuration, business rules, personas, etc. This role provides the day-to-day support of mortgage applications and interfaces through troubleshooting issues and working with the vendor on quick resolution. He/she partners with the vendor to ensure quality services and solutions meeting defined SLAs. Other responsibilities include creating metrics to identify trends and negotiating contracts and renewals. Assist Compliance and Security to ensure Encompass and related applications are functioning in accordance with requirements. This position may provide support for other applications, as required.

Qualifications

Requires 4 year College Degree and 3 to 5 years of technical support of Encompass or similar mortgage system. Excellent communications skills with the ability to interact within all levels of the organization. Effectively manage multiple work activities with the ability to set priorities based on business needs. Excellent written skills with proven ability to document business requirements and technical specifications. Project management skills a plus.
